Time for soundcheck.
We are not beggars on the one hand or spiritual customers on the other; we are God’s children, and we just stay before Him with our broken treasures or our pain and watch Him mend or heal in such a way that we understand Him better.
They’re out of the lab now, flying through the air, crawling in the grass, buzzing near you, swimming in the ocean. They’re robots. They’re among us. We don’t notice yet. But we will.
that’s terrifying, npr. terrifying.
Bon Iver has been at the microbrewery tour all day. When he’s dropped off by the neighbor back at home, he’s as red as a beet and laughing at the grass tickling his feet.
All he wants is a sandwich, his flannel nightie, and to tell me that I’m a treasure, at least a thousand times.
